OUR sweet HOME...
here on Bainbridge Island.

Our home here on Bainbridge...
is EXACTLY the kind of home...
I love to call HOME.

It's DREAMY!
It's not a mansion.
And it's not waterfront here on the island.
It's just dreamy!
Because it BEAMS with all that I love!
Shells, rocks and driftwood from our favorite beaches adorn this place we call HOME!

Spending time outdoors is one of our favorite things!
We spend countless hours sipping coffee
and gazing at STARS... plopped in our teak!

Doogan feels right at HOME...
cozied up in his favorite spots!

Some people have a craft room.
But I have a WORKOUT studio!

I am in LOVE with my WORKOUT studio!

The master bedroom
{that means the bedroom where Greg, DOOGAN and I sleep :o) }
is still a work in progress!
Many things about our new home are still a work in progress!

I love the style of this home!
I love it's Northwestern flair...
and it's craftsman style architecture.
I love the high vaulted ceilings,
the pine beams and doors,
the bleached maple floors...
and the gigantic windows that let the GREEN in each day...
and the STARS in at night!

What I most adore about this home...
are the day-to-day moments spent within it's rooms.
The memories created are just so sweet.
I love changing the decor up for the seasons!

And CELEBRATING!

And bringing our HOME to life with plants and BLOOMS!

Decorating for the holidays fills the HOME with warmth and JOY!

For me:
HOME is WHERE the HEART BEAMS!
It's where the day begins...and the day ends.
HOME is WHERE you have the option of MAKING someones day BRIGHT!
It's where you cry.
It's where you PRAY.
It's where you LOVE.
It's where you listen.
It's where you find yourself forgiving...over and over again.
Home is so much more than WHITE slip covered furniture.
HOME...is the realest thing I know.
It is safe.
And it is blessed.
