Bainbridge Island

Bainbridge Island!
In July 2005, CNN/Money magazine named Bainbridge Island, WA the second best place to live in the United States. Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce states: "More than 23,000 people call these 28 square miles home. The island's friendly people, exquisite beauty, and proximity to Seattle and the Kitsap Peninsula continue to draw new residents and curious visitors."

Coastal Living Magazine classified Bainbridge Island as "an antidote to Seattle's big city bustle and an introduction to Puget Sound island life."

The travel guide Go Northwest states, "Bainbridge Island has rustic charm with quiet country roads and lovely gardens, making this a favorite destination.

The Dog Lovers Companion to the Pacific Northwest writes, "Bainbridge Island is packed with fun parks for pups! There are dogs everywhere! They all seem HAPPY, as do their humans!"

For me.
Bainbridge Island is happy dogs and smiling faces.
Hiking trails without bears!

It's a place where eagles soar and sea lions honk the day away.
Bainbridge Island is Mora's Iced Creamery and Blackbird Bakery.
It's pizza at Treehouse Cafe and candy at Bon Bon's.

Bainbridge Island is dinner at The Harbour Pub and shopping downtown Winslow. It's the Farmer's Market on Saturday and yoga at Bainbridge Yoga House.

You really have to experience life on Bainbridge Island to believe it.
It's a place where things grow green and people live green.

It's rocky beaches, bunnies at Battle Point, blackberries and bikers.

It's about what ferry to take.

Bainbridge Island is not about who drives the fanciest car and wears the most stylish clothes.
Bainbridge Island is about living life~in the truest sense of the word.
It's authentic living~at it's best!

Where you'll find happy kids and islanders who enjoy sharing stories.
Stories about discovering this magical place to live.
It's a place where people genuinely take the time.
Where some sweet soul takes the time to make sure furry creatures have a place to
wet their whistles.

Bainbridge Island!
It never ceases to amaze me.
It's my perfect place to be.
It's a place where islanders "wag more and bark less."
This blog is simply me...living life on Bainbridge Island.
