This is my "I'm headed SOUTH" face!
That's right!
Last weekend I left the Northwest and headed SOUTH~
all the way HOME to ALABAMA!
Here I am!
IN THE COUNTRY!
ON THE FARM!
Seriously.
Life "in the country" is my favorite thing ever!
Summers are like camp!
Life on the farm is a world away from "it all."
I like it that way!
I LOVE being AWAY from it all!
Every moment is treasured at the homestead.
The quiet.
The stillness.
The frogs and the crickets chirping at night.
Blackberry cobblers made with homegrown blackberries hand~picked by my Dad.
Freshly shucked corn.
Days spent doing the same things over and over again.
Enjoying the simple things.
Never growing tired~
never ever getting bored~
always~always grateful.
I'm at THE FARM!
Stay tuned for some favorite SOUTHERN recipes!
Happy Day my Friends!
Hugs from Alabama!
~xo~
